Mark C. Thomas focuses his practice on employment and personal injury law. He represents both employers and employees in a wide variety of matters before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. On behalf of employers, Mark has counseled businesses on employee disciplinary matters, litigation avoidance, employee handbook policies, arbitration agreements, leaves of absence, the California Family Rights Act, the federal Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and full wage and hour compliance audits, including the categorization of employees as exempt or non-exempt, alternative workweek schedules, meal and rest periods, makeup time requests, and overtime requirements.
